Benny Struelens: Sports Physiotherapist and Manual Therapist

NL/FR/ENG

From a young age, I have been passionate about sports and human movement—an interest I further deepened during my studies in sports physiotherapy. In July 2022, I graduated from KU Leuven with a degree in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, specializing in sports physiotherapy. I immediately started my career at a multidisciplinary center in Tervuren.

After gaining several years of valuable experience and completing various additional trainings, I now feel ready to take the next step: founding my own practice in my beloved city of Strombeek-Bever.

My vision is clear: to bring together physical and mental health under one roof and support these two essential aspects with a motivated and skilled team on the path to recovery. I’ve brought this vision to life in “Streamlined.”

As a dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic Strombeek native, I’m determined to guide people through their rehabilitation journey in the best way possible. I see physiotherapy as a collaboration between you and me, where the rehabilitation process is fully tailored to your personal needs, goals, and daily activities

To continue providing the best possible care, I am committed to ongoing professional development. I regularly take additional training courses to stay up-to-date with the latest scientific insights and treatment methods. In 2023, I completed a postgraduate program in manual therapy at Ghent University, and in 2023–2024, I completed courses in Dry Needling and TMJ (jaw) disorders

See you soon at Streamlined!

Youri Mot: Clinical Psychologist (Adolescents and Adults)

NL/FR/ENG

II graduated in clinical psychology (adults) from UCL and have been working for over a year with great dedication as a psychosocial worker at a non-profit organization. In this role, I provide in-home guidance to people who have experienced homelessness and support them in dealing with complex issues such as severe anxiety disorders, depression, psychosis, and addiction problems

My passion for clinical psychology stems from a deep-rooted desire to help people with psychological challenges. I strongly believe in the power of a safe and supportive environment where people feel heard and understood.

In practice, I primarily use a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, applying evidence-based methods and tailoring my interventions to the individual needs of my clients. My goal is to create a space where respect, empathy, and genuine involvement are central, allowing each person to make progress at their own pace.

To ensure high-quality care, I continuously develop myself and stay updated on the latest insights in clinical psychology. By further expanding my knowledge and skills, I aim to better understand and support my clients on their path to recovery.

Tuan Pauwels: Clinical Psychologist

NL

You don’t need to know exactly what you want to say, or why you feel stuck. Sometimes there’s just that vague sense: “Something isn’t right, but I can’t put my finger on it.”

In my work, I aim to create space together with you to explore that — without judgment and at your own pace.

As a clinical psychologist, I focus fully on psychological assessment. I work with adolescents and adults who are looking for insight into themselves and the difficulties they experience. In previous practices in Tielt-Winge and Mechelen, I gained experience within multidisciplinary teams, where I conducted assessments related to ADHD and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). What speaks to me most in this work is the search for answers: helping someone better understand themselves, and from there, offering tailored advice and practical tools.

During my training, I came to see that lifelong learning is one of the key qualities of a good clinical psychologist. That mindset really resonated with me and is a value I want to keep carrying forward in my work — not just because learning excites me, but because I truly believe it enables me to offer the best possible support. That’s why I completed additional training in the ADOS-2, an observational tool often used in ASD assessments. I intend to continue deepening my knowledge and skills in the future, so that I can keep practicing with care, expertise, and attention.

Laetitia Fischetti: Clinical Psychologist (Children and Adolescents)

NL/FR

Hi, I am Laeti, Clinical Psychologist.

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults who are struggling. As a person, I am creative, open, and calm, which creates space during conversations to truly listen without judgment. Transparency and honesty form the foundation for me because a trusting relationship is crucial for any process. My approach goes beyond just talking; I use active and creative methods tailored to what suits you or your child.

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with children and young people, and I continue to further my training to support them as best as possible. I believe everyone has a story that deserves to be heard and understood

You are welcome to come to me with all kinds of questions and/or difficulties. Maybe you want to change something, but you’re not quite sure how to start. Maybe you overthink a lot, have panic attacks, or often feel anxious or insecure. Maybe you’re struggling with fear of failure, low self-esteem, or difficulty managing your emotions. All of these things can feel heavy — at school, at home, or in friendships. I often work with young people who recognise themselves in these experiences, and I offer them a safe space to search together for ways to improve things. I also have experience with more specific concerns, such as selective mutism, neophobia, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, or self-harming behaviour

A child never exists in isolation from their environment, which is why I like to involve parents and other important people from the child’s context in the process, in a way that fits the child’s age and situation. Together, we try to understand what is happening and how we can, step by step, bring movement to what feels stuck. My approach is tailored to who you are, with attention to what you need. Whether you are seeking help yourself, or you are a parent, general practitioner, or other professional wishing to refer someone, you are warmly welcome to get in touch. Together, we will explore the possibilities.

Maya Beeckmans: Physiotherapist specializing in Internal Disorders

NL/FR/ENG

I graduated as a physiotherapist at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2025, specializing in internal disorders (pulmonary rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes, etc.). This was a conscious choice because of the combination of medical knowledge, practical treatment techniques and personalized care.

Meanwhile, I continue to deepen my knowledge and develop further, specifically with the “Therapeutic Manual Lymph Drainage ad modum Vodder” program. The medical field is constantly evolving, and I believe it’s important to grow alongside and keep my knowledge up-to-date.

I was also actively involved in scouting for many years: as a member, as a leader, and as a group leader. This experience allowed me to build strong bonds with children and young people. Through this experience, I realized the value of guiding them in a playful, safe and supportive way. Many children struggle with their handwriting and fine motor skills. In our practice, I can provide them with high-quality and targeted support.

I very much look forward working with you and guiding you through your rehabilitation and toward better health and quality of life. Do you have questions or would you like to discuss what I can do for you (or your child)? Don’t hesitate to contact me. Together, we’ll find the approach that works best for you.

See you soon in the practice!

Charlotte Buelens: Clinical Psychologist (Children and Adolescents)

NL/ENG/FR

Hello, my name is Charlotte.

I’m a lively and energetic person who has found her passion in working as a clinical psychologist for young people and adolescents. In my work, I find it important to look together for what makes you feel comfortable and to discover how you express yourself best. Sometimes talking helps, but drawing, writing, or another creative form of expression can be just as valuable in understanding and opening up about feelings and thoughts. My starting point is always the same question: what helps you most to express yourself? That’s why I always adapt my way of working to suit who you are.

To me, it’s essential to create an open and respectful atmosphere, where you feel heard and free to be yourself. Together, we take time to reflect on what’s difficult and look for ways to deal with it.

You can come to me with one or more issues such as depressive feelings, suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviour, identity questions, eating disorders… Even if you don’t immediately recognise yourself in any of these, you’re still very welcome. For me, the focus is not the problem, but the person. Together, we explore what you need to take the next steps forward.

As a child or adolescent, you don’t exist separately from your environment. That’s why, after discussion and if desired, I’m also happy to involve your parents or caregivers in your process. This allows us to build more understanding, connection, and support together. In this way, the changes we work on won’t just be felt during therapy sessions, but also beyond them.

Héléna Ndiaye: Sports Physiotherapist and Manual Therapist

NL/FR/ENG

Hello, my name is Héléna.

I was born and raised in Brussels, and in June 2024 I graduated with a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Musculoskeletal Disorders, with a specialization in Sports Physiotherapy, from the VUB.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to do an internship in the United States — an experience that gave me new perspectives and still influences the way I work today.

You can come to me for general physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, post-operative rehabilitation, and manual therapy.
I’m committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest techniques and insights, so I can offer every patient the most personalized and effective treatment possible.

What matters most to me is that my patients feel understood, respected, and at ease.
I believe that a trusting and safe environment is essential for successful rehabilitation.

And when I’m not working, you’ll probably find me at the climbing gym or hiking in the mountains with a backpack.

See you soon in the practice!
