What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy comes from the Greek word “kinesis,” meaning movement, and focuses on healing through motion. It is essential for treating injuries, post-surgical recovery, pain relief, improving mobility, and promoting strength and flexibility. Physiotherapists apply various methods and techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, dry needling, and education—tailored to the patient’s abilities and goals. This makes every rehabilitation program personalized and person-centered. Whether young or old, each treatment is customized for optimal recovery. Physiotherapy has a positive impact on daily life and helps people live actively and pain-free.

What are our specialties?
(Sports) physiotherapy and manual therapy:
Physical complaints, injuries, and conditions related to sports and/or movement can be treated with exercises and manual techniques. The practice is equipped with specialized rehabilitation tools and fitness equipment to support your recovery with targeted exercises.
Manual techniques such as massage, manipulations (HVT techniques), mobilizations, and stretching can also be used to enhance recovery. Individual advice and education are provided to effectively guide you back to your goals, with a focus on performance and prevention.
Physiotherapy for internal disorders focuses on treating symptoms related to internal organs.
In respiratory physiotherapy, targeted techniques such as autogenic drainage and ACBT can help to evacuate mucus, improve lung capacity, and facilitate breathing in conditions like COPD, asthma, or following surgery.
In cardiac rehabilitation, we support individuals step by step in regaining their fitness, strength, and confidence after heart surgery or cardiac issues. Exercise sessions are always adapted to each person’s pace and abilities.

With manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder method), we promote the body’s natural removal of fluids. This is often necessary after oncological treatments, in cases of (lipo)lymphedema or vascular edema. It helps relieve symptoms and improves quality of life.
Physiotherapy for fine motor skills and handwriting focuses on improving manual dexterity, coordination, and writing control for children. When everyday tasks such as writing or cutting are difficult, targeted therapy can help strengthen these skills in a playful and goal-oriented way. Through customized exercise therapy, we work on increasing precision, endurance and confidence in fine motor skills, enabling your child to function more smoothly and confidently on an enjoyably way at home and at school.
